Kitchen Sink Slow Cooker Soup

With  it being chilly out soup has been on my mind. Nothing better than eating a nice hot bowl of soup on a chilly day. I'm calling this kitchen sink soup because I threw in so many random items, but boy was it good. Remember that you can remove items you don't like and add ones you do. That is pretty much what kitchen sink refers to. Putting in everything, but the kitchen sink.

First I browned some sausage and sauteed a diced onion with it. Back on my first blog post I referred to my chopper I use frequently. Well check this bad boy out! I chopped up not only my onion swiftly, but my red potatoes too.

I diced up some raw chicken and added it to the bottom of the crock pot. I topped it with a can of corn, a can of rotel, a package of frozen peas, the diced potatoes and a can of chicken broth. Next I added the sausage and onion mixture. I then put a package of white chili seasoning and blacken seasoning on top and cooked on high for 5 hours.

Once the chicken and potatoes were cooked through I knew it was ready. Serve with some shredded cheese on top or if you are daring some sliced avocado. So hearty and so yummy!

Ingredients:
chicken
sausage
onion
frozen peas
rotel
3 red potatoes
can of chicken broth
can of corn
white chicken chili seasoning
